 The pen is mightier than the sword.

Approximately four and a half years ago from today, when I was a student of Diploma in English language and literature at Ibrahim Bawani Industrial Training Institute, located in Vadodara, Gujarat, at that time I had browsed through an interesting article entitled " The Pen is mightier than the sword." Today, when I opened Nadia Al-Fudhala WhatsApp group (a group of people who have completed their Islamic Education from any Islamic institute), I got an opportunity to glance through a brief note, written By Muhammad Salim Al-Qasmi, an Islamic scholar and intellectual leader of this group, which encouraged me to jot down an article. Then the above mentioned article came to my mind and I tried my level best to scribble that. 

The power of pen 

At the beginning, I have mentioned a famous maxim in English "the pen is mightier than the sword", referring to the importance of the pen, its status and its ability. It is a famous adage speaking about the power of writing. A pen can achieve a lot more than a sword does. It means that the power of writing is eternal while the power of the sword is short-lived. Through this famous adage, it is clear to compare the power of pen and sword to one another.

The pen looks like a small ordinary object. It is not very costly and is not impressively built. Yet, it comprises of great power and strength.

It is hidden from no one that the writing has been always invaluable, precious and priceless. Those who write, they acquire great fame and name. They are considered acceptable and responsible persons. They get tremendous achievements. Because their writings leave a profound and sound impacts on the society.

Today, it's the era of social media, now writing has been much more easy. When it is used to spread goodness and promote peace, it will be useful for all. There is no doubt that we have a lot of benefits for Social Media. 

Today, in modern age, you can hardly find a person who does not have a smartphone, everyone's pocket is filled with an smartphone and cell phone. The problem is its advantages and disadvantages, so it depends on its use.

Hence, wherever we are, at home or in the office, in the market or in the garden, in the field or on the street, coming and going, eating and drinking, sleeping and awaking, playing and jumping, rising and sitting, we can record everything in our mobile easily just with the help of our mobile keyboard.

We ask Allah Almighty to grant us strength in our arms and to help us in writing and speaking truth. Amen!

 القلم أقوى من السيف

قبل حوالي أربع سنوات و نصف مضت من اليوم، عندما كنتُ دارساً بقسم اللغة الإنجليزية و آدابها في "إبراهيم بواني آئي تي آئي" واقعا في مدينة "برودا" بولاية "غوجارات"، ذلك الوقت قرأت مقالاً شيقاً تحت عنوان "القلم أقوى كثيراً من السيف". اليوم لمّا فتحتُ مجموعة "نادية الفضلاء" على الواتساب، وجدت فرصة لقراءة رسالة موجزة فيها كتبها فضيلة الشيخ المفتي محمد سالم القاسمي (حفظه الله ورعاه) مما اضطرني إلى كتابة مقال. ثم خطر ببالي ذلك الموضوع و بذلت ما في وسعي من الجهود البالغة تجاه كتابة المقال بالعنوان المذكور.

قوة القلم

في البداية، ذكرتُ مثلاً مشهوراً بالإنجليزية "القلم أقوى كثيراً من السيف" مشيرا إلى أهمية القلم و منزلته و قدرته، يمكننا أن نستفيد من القلم كثيراً جدا،كما لا نقدر على الاستفادة من السيف. لا يماثل القلم السيف أي مطابقة بشكل واضح و صريح. ما أهمية القلم أمام السيف؟ 

يبدو القلم ضعيفا و عاديا بين السيف. إذا تم النظر فيه، نحن نعرف أن القلم يكون أقوى بقوته الخفية بالمقابل مع السيف دائماً. للقلم قوة جبارة تختفي خلف وقع الكلمات. 

لا يخفي على أحد أن القلم أقوى من السيف. تكون الكتابة والتحرير دائماً نادرة. من الذي يكتب، يكتسب شهرة كبيرة و يعتبر شخصاً مقبولاً و يحقق إنجازات عظيمة. و يعد فرداً يحمل مسؤوليات كبيرة لأن تحريره يؤثر على المجتمع تأثيراً بالغاً.

اليوم في زمن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، إن الكتابة سهلة جدا. عندما يستخدم مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لنشر الخير والسلام فيكون مفيدا. لا شك في كونه ذا فائدة كبيرة لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

لأنه في العصر الحديث اليوم يمكنك بالكاد العثور على شخص ليس لديه هاتف ذكي ، جيب الجميع مليئ بالهاتف الذكي والنقال الخلوي. والمشكلة هي فوائده و مضاره، لذلك فهو يعتمد على استخدامه.

لذا أينما كنا، في البيت أو المكتب، في السوق أو الحديقة، قائماً في الميدان أو الشارع، إياباً وذهاباً، آكلاً و شارباً، نائماً و مستيقظاً، لاعباً و قافزاً، ناهضاً و جالساً، نقدر على تسجيل كل شيء في جوالنا بمجرد الضغط على لوحة مفاتيح الجوال بشكل سهولة.

نسأل الله تعالى أن يعطينا قوة في أيدينا وأن يوفقنا في قول الحق وكتابته والعمل به آمين.

آج سے تقریباً ساڑھے چار سال قبل، جس وقت ناچیز صوبۂ گجرات کے بڑودا شہر میں واقع "ابراہیم بوانی آئی ٹی آئی" کے اندر شعبہ انگریزی کا طالبِ علم تھا، ایک دلچسپ مضمون پڑھا تھا جس کا عنوان (The pen is mightier than sword) "قلم تلوار سے زیادہ طاقتور ہے" تھا، آج جب میں نے واٹساپ گروپ "نادیۃ الفضلاء" کھولا تو حضرت مولانا مفتی محمد سالم صاحب قاسمی (حفظه الله ورعاه) کے ایک مختصر مضمون پر نگاہ پڑی جس نے مجھے حوصلہ بخشا کہ میں کچھ لکھوں، پھر میرے ذہن میں یہی مضمون یاد آیا، اور میں نے بقدر وسعت مذکورہ عنوان پر مختصراً قلمبند کرنے کی کوشش کی،،،

قلم کی طاقت

ابتدا میں راقم السطور نے انگریزی کی ایک مشہور کہاوت "قلم تلوار سے زیادہ طاقتور ہے" (The pen is mightier than sword) ذکر کیا تھا، اس سے قلم کی اہمیت، اسکی قدر و منزلت کا پتہ چلتا ہے قلم سے اتنا کچھ حاصل کیا جا سکتا ہے جتنا تلوار سے نہیں، بظاہر قلم اور تلوار میں کوئی مماثلت و مطابقت نظر نہیں آتی، تلوار کے سامنے قلم کی حیثیت ہی کیا، وہ تو معمولی اور بے وقعت لگتی ہے لیکن اگر غور  کیا جائے، تو یہ اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ قلم اپنے پوشیدہ طاقتوں کے ساتھ تلوار کے بمقابل ہمیشہ افضل و ابتر رہا ہے _

یہ کسی سے مخفی نہیں کہ قلم تلوار سے زیادہ طاقتور ہے، تحریر و کتابت ہمیشہ سے انمول رہا ہے جو لکھتا ہے عزت و شہرت سے ہمکنار ہوتا ہے، کامیابی اس کے قدم چومتی ہے، سب سے زیادہ ذمہ دار شخص گردانا جاتا ہے، کیونکہ اس کی تحریر سماج اور معاشرے میں گہرا اثر ڈالتی ہے_

آج جبکہ سوشل میڈیا کا زمانہ ہے آج لکھنا بہت سہل اور آسان ہو گیا ہے جب  اس کا استعمال خیر کے فروغ اور امن و آشتی کی راہ ہموار کرنے کے لیے ہو تو مفید اور کارآمد ہوگا ۔اس میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے کہ سوشل میڈیا کی حیثیت ہمارے لیے کسی نعمت غیر مترقبہ سے کم نہیں_

کیونکہ آج کے اس جدید دور میں آپکو شاید ہی کوئی ایسا شخص ملے جس کے پاس اسمارٹ-فون نہ ہو، ہر ایک کی جیب انڈرائیڈ اور اسمارٹ-فون سے پر ہے، رہا مسئلہ موبائل کے فوائد و نقصانات کا، تو یہ اس کے استعمال پر منحصر ہے...... 

 لہذا ہم کہیں بھی ہوں، گھر پر ہوں یا آفس میں، بازار میں ہوں یا پارک میں، میدان میں ہوں یا گلی میں، چلتے پھرتے، کھاتے پیتے، سوتے جاگتے، کھیلتے کودتے، اٹھتے بیٹھتے محض موبائل کی بورڈ کے ذریعے با آسانی ہر ایک چیز قلمبند کر سکتے ہیں _

اللہ سبحانه وتعالى  سے دعا ہے کہ اللہ ہمارے بازو میں قوت دے اور ہمیں حق اور سچی بات کہنے اور لکھنے، اور اس پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے_ آمین

 The significance of Rabi-ul-Awwal

The month of Rabi al Awwal is upon us. Rabi-ul-Awwal is the third month of Islamic Calendar occurring after Muharram and Safar. It carries immense significance and importance. As Muslims believe that our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in this month. Your beautiful birthday is a blessing for Ummah. This month is considered to be significant because the event of Prophet Muhammad's birth took place during this month. Therefore, it holds special significance over another month. it is touchstone and evidence of light upon light. 

Our responsibility towards Rabi-ul-Awwal 

Rabiul Awwal requires us to beautify this month with worshiping Allah Almighty abundantly and doing good deeds in the love of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We should follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)in every walk of life. We must bend over backwards to revive His Sunnah. We should thank Allah Almighty for showering His countless blessings upon us. We should not do any act against Sunnah. We ought to avoid abominations, innovations, superstitions, nonsense and other unnecessarily activities.

May Allah Almighty protect us from the evil and grant us taufeeq to perform good deeds. May Allah save our Iman. Amen!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 

تهل علينا الأيام المباركة من هذا الشهر الهجري الاقدس و مسقط الأنوار شهر ربيع الأول الشهر الثالث بعد شهري محرم و صفر ذكرى عظيمة وعزيزة علينا جميعا وهي في يوم (12 ربيع الأول)هي ذكرى مولد الحب و النور الاقدس ...مولد سيد البشرية جمعاء محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين. 

فواجبنا اتجاه هذا الشهر العظيم وهذه المناسبة الكريمة كبير جدا و متعدد

من حيث العبادة بكثرة التلاوة ، الاذكار ، الصيام ، الصدقة والاعمال الصالحة و إحياء سنة الحبيب صلى الله عليه وسلم في شتى مجالات الحياة و الدفاع عنه بكافة الوسائل. 

أسأل الله العلي العظيم أن يجمعنا مع حبيبه المصطفى تحت ظل عرشه يوم لا ظل إلا ظله و نسأله سبحانه أن لا يحرمنا شربة ماء من يده الكريمه على نهر الكوثر و أن يحفظنا من شرور أنفسنا و سيئات أعمالنا و أن يوفقنا لما يحبه ويرضاه .

ماہ ربیع الاول

ماہ ربیع الاول کی فضیلت 

ربیع الاول کا مہینہ چل رہا ہے ماہ ربیع الاول اسلامی تقویم کا تیسرا مہینہ ہے، یہ مہینہ بڑی اہمیت کا حامل ہے، اس مبارک مہینہ میں آقاءِ دو جہاں سرورِ کونین نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس دنیا میں تشریف لائے، آپکی ولادت با سعادت ساری امت کے لیے خیر ہے،اس پاک مہینہ کی عظمت اسی بات سے عیاں ہے کہ اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ نے اپنے حبیب سیدالکونین خاتم النبیین صلی الله علیہ وسلم کا ظہور اسی ماہ میں فرمایا، اس اعتبار سے اس مہینہ کو دیگر مہینوں پر فوقیت اور عظمت حاصل ہے، اسلام میں اس ماہ کی بڑی اہمیت ہے، ایک تو موسم بہار، پھر آمدِ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، بہار در بہار، نور علی نور کا مصداق ہے_

ماہ ربیع الاول ہم سے کیا چاہتا ہے؟ ماہ ربیع الاول ہم سے متقاضی ہے کہ ہم رسولِ خدا صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی محبت میں اس ماہ کو کثرتِ عبادات اور اعمالِ صالحہ سے مزین کریں،نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنتوں پر عمل پیرا ہوں، محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنتوں کو زندہ کر نے کی جان توڑ کوشش کریں، اللہ کی نعمتوں کا شکریہ ادا کریں، خلافِ سنت کوئی بھی عمل سرزد نہ کریں، مکروہات، بدعات، خرافات، لغویات اور دیگر فضولیات سے بالکلیہ اجتناب کریں_

اللہ رب العزت ہمیں بدعات و خرافات سے بچائے، سنتِ نبوی پر عمل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے، ہمارے ایمان کی حفاظت فرمائے - آمین

Happiness

Happiness

 The concept of happiness differs from one person to another, depending on each person's different view it has giant meaning.

On the scale of Islamic Sharia, the happiness is not just a temporary state of joy and delight; rather it is a lifelong process aiming primarily at bringing eternal happiness, peace of mind, tranquility of heart, contentment in this world and everlasting bliss in the Hereafter.

Some see happiness in love. ❤️

Others see it in a lot of money.💰

They spend a lifetime running around collecting money here and there, oblivious to the fact that money is not permanent and his happiness is instantaneous.

Allah the Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:

"My wealth has not been of any use 

to me. My power has gone from me for 

good." ( Surah Al-Haaqqah: Chapter 69, Verse 28/29)

Some see happiness in travel ✈️✈️. 

And others find it in receiving knowledge ✏️📕📘. 

Others see happiness as a prestigious job and a privileged position that they seek by all means while the others see that happiness is in physical and psychological health, others see it as safe and stable, others see it as faith and obedience to Allah the Almighty and win his Jannah..

Happiness is one of the human feelings that a person feels when something happens, that causes to joy and leaves good  feelings towards people or situation that occur to him in everyday life. 

Where will you find true happiness???? 

Proceeding to obey, worship and abandoning sin and iniquity.

Getting closer to Allah through His obedience and worship is a reason for Allah's love for the servant and if Allah loves a slave, He provides him the source of happiness. 

Allah the Almighty says in the Holy Quran:  ''but those who believe are most firm in their love for Allah.'' (chapter 1, verse 165)

look at those who do remembrance of Allah a lot, you find them always in comfort and reassurance. 

Allah the Almighty says in the Holy Quran : the ones who believe and their hearts are peaceful with the remembrance of Allah. Listen, the hearts find peace only in the remembrance of Allah.” (chapter 13, verse 28)

If the heart is satisfied, the mind is relaxed, he is happy in this world and the hereafter This is the main success which the Almighty has guided us to achieve and that is because of remembering Him a lot as He said in His scared book:

 "and remember Allah abundantly so that you may be successful." (chapter 8, verse 45)

May Allah bless everyone with peace, abundance, health, love, happiness, and goodness in this life and the next. May Allah grant us all with what is best for us. Amen!
